Executive Officers


Moriarty and Associates senior management is uniquely well suited to their roles. Although each officer began and pursued their professional career along a technology path, they have individually and collectively become seasoned business managers focused on administration, business development, finance and marketing. Currently, each of the officers assumes or shares Project Management duties on certain projects.


John Moriarty

John Moriarty serves as Chairman and President of Moriarty and Associates. He founded the Company in 1998 in response to the need for more agile and responsive IT services. Mr. Moriarty is responsible for overall business strategy and management of the company.

From 1978-1997 he held a series of increasingly responsible positions within the Information Technology community. Working with several high profile technology companies, his early work in computer applications and integration were followed by the more challenging design and analysis of sophisticated defense, business and financial systems. His continuing interest in business lead to the formation of Moriarty and Associates.

Mr. Moriarty is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University from which he earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry. He earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He is the author of several technical publications, and the recipient of numerous achievement and performance awards.


Ethan Baldwin

Ethan Baldwin joined Moriarty and Associates as Vice President and Secretary in 2001. In addition to a broad spectrum of technology roles, Mr. Baldwin is responsible for all corporate documentation for the company.

From 1994-2001 he served in a variety of IT engineering positions with Harris Corporation, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (formerly NIMA), and the Navy Engineering Logistics Office. He moved into IT management roles early in his career, leading Software and Systems Engineering teams in many innovative development projects on multiple platforms.

Mr. Baldwin earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the College of Charleston. He earned a Masters in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University in 1994. He has earned numerous awards for performance and achievement.


Hilario Diaz

Hilario “Larry’ Diaz joined Moriarty and Associates as Vice President in 2002. Mr. Diaz is responsible for business development of the company. Mr. Diaz serves as Moriarty’s senior program manager for several multi-million dollar contracts.

Between 1988-2002 Mr. Diaz developed his professional skills with several top-notch technology firms including General Electric Aerospace, Hughes Information Technology and Harris Corporation. In addition to his skills as a Software and Systems Engineer, he is a leading expert in motion imagery and the exploitation of analyzed data.

Mr. Diaz earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University in 1988. Additional education includes graduate courses in Software Engineering at the University of Central Florida, as well advanced engineering courses with General Electric Corporation. He has earned numerous awards for performance and achievement.
